What payment methods are accepted?
When you book a teleconsultation on Consultenligne, payment is made by credit card only (Mastercard, VISA, American Express, etc.). The teleconsultation fees are pre-authorized on your credit card. The actual charge occurs as soon as the consultation with the practitioner is completed.
A pre-authorization of €69 is made on your account. This is not a charge. No amount is debited before the consultation takes place.
Who are the practitioners on Consultenligne?
The doctors on Consultenligne are qualified professionals, holding a medical degree and registered with the National Medical Council (Conseil National de l’Ordre des Médecins) in France. Their additional training in video consultation enables them to offer quality remote services.
The doctors are attentive to your needs to provide simple and effective care during the online consultation.
How does a teleconsultation with Consultenligne work?
Teleconsultation via Consultenligne can be useful for pain and symptoms that do not require an in-depth physical examination. It allows you to consult a doctor through a video call on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Each practitioner will individually assess your situation as a patient and make appropriate decisions based on your symptoms, medical history, and other relevant factors.
Can the teleconsultation fee be increased by the doctor?
It is possible that doctors on the Consultenligne platform may apply surcharges or fee overruns, just as they would in an office setting. At the end of your teleconsultation, the doctor will inform you of the final amount to be billed.
This amount cannot exceed the amount of the pre-authorization held on your payment card at the time of booking. Please note that this pre-authorization does not constitute an actual charge. The final payment for your consultation will only be made at the end of your teleconsultation, provided it takes place within 7 days of the booking.
What are the reimbursements for a teleconsultation?
The reimbursement for teleconsultation is based on the conventional medical consultation fee. However, the exact amount reimbursed may vary depending on current legislation and agreements made with healthcare professionals.
Additionally, reimbursement may also depend on the nature of the teleconsultation, the medical specialty of the consulted practitioner, and the patient’s medical situation.
What should I do if no doctor is available for a home visit?
If no doctor is available for a home visit, you can opt for a teleconsultation with a doctor. Teleconsultations allow you to consult a healthcare professional remotely via videoconference or phone call.
If your health condition requires urgent medical attention and no doctor is available, you can go directly to the emergency department of a hospital or clinic. Emergency services are open 24 hours a day and can provide medical assistance in case of an emergency.
How can I retrieve my sick leave or other documents?
As soon as the consultation with the doctor is completed, you will receive a secure link containing your sick leave, medical care form, and prescription at your email address.
Can I contact the doctor after a teleconsultation?
If you wish to ask the doctor a question following your appointment, you can contact the Patient Support chat, which will forward your question to the doctor. Alternatively, you can send your request to contact@consultenligne.com.
